In 2000, Twenty-one veteran cultures are joined by the Cuban and Lebanese cultures on May 20 and 21 at Oakton Park. The popular flag display also returns to the Festival, and the Human Relations Commission begins a Festival poster and essay contest. The 10th Annual Festival welcomes more than 20,000 attendees.Then in 2001, the Festival adds the Danish, Scottish, and Jamaican cultures to its 23 returning ethnic groups, and features a laser light show.
The Festival adopts an annual theme in 2002. The themes for 2002 - 2004 included: "United We Stand", "Peace Through Understanding" and "Many Cultures, One Heart". In 2004, The International Games area makes its debut, featuring: soccer, Gaelic football, and hurling.
By 2005, the Festival of Cutlures committee has grown to over 100 community volunteers and features 30 cultures, including: Croatian, Irish, Belizean and Romanian.
