Holi Festival of Colors at end of 2018 Festival
Ever changing, the Festival of Cultures adds an International Film Festival on Friday in 2016 that continues for the next 4 years. The Festival continues to grow to represent over 40 cultures in its cultural booths, with the additions of the Cambodian and Lithuanian Cultures in 2016. The 2018 Festival of Cultures culminates in a happy celebration of the Indian Holi Festival of Colors at Oakton Park.
The 30th annual Skokie Festival of Cultures was to be held on May 15-17, 2020. However, due to recent unforeseen circumstances, it will have to be postponed. We hope you enjoyed reminiscing with us over the last 30 years. This exhibit is only a small representation of all that the Festival of Cultures has been, of those who have participated and of what they have accomplished. A big thank you and congratulations to all the community representatives who have made this possible over the years from the Skokie Park District staff, the Skokie Public Library staff and the many Cultural Representatives who have shared their cultures with us.
And, we look forward to everyone joining us for Skokie's next Festival of Cultures!
