Was there an amusement park in Skokie?

Fun Fair Amusement Park was located at the southeast corner of Skokie Blvd. and Golf Rd. It existed c. 1960-1969 and was replaced by the Hilton Hotel, now the Double Tree Hotel.  It was opend by Joseph and Barbara (Jennetten) Naegele, a local family, who lived nearby on Golf Rd. All images displayed here are from the family and were taken in September 1960.
